Byron View Farm: A wedding under the stars, overlooking Byron Bay
Byron View Farm ticks a lot of boxes for couples choosing a venue for their wedding. It has the feel of a country farm escape, yet it’s within a few minutes drive of downtown Byron Bay. Sitting atop Byron’s tallest hill, it’s an authentic working cattle farm surrounded by rolling hills and pastures.
One of its best features is its cottage: an old wooden Queenslander with verandas on each side, and views giving out over the hinterland and ocean. This house is the perfect place to relax and prepare for a wedding day, and an ideal oasis to enjoy the following day recovering and reliving the wedding.
Many couples also choose to have their reception outside, under the trees. The dining experience underneath fairy lights in the garden is amazing.
From a wedding photography point of view, Byron View Farm offers a lot: the charm of the old cottage and gardens, views out over the hills to the ocean, and more than enough options for photos on-site, without the need to venture further afield.
